Here's my beautiful Oaxacan home |
No garage but secure parking inside. At right, are stairs leading up to my home |

Alexis bought one of the star lights for her home |

![]() The hallway above leads to the two downstairs bedrooms. At left, you can see some of the art collection. I bought many of the paintings in art auctions here and Angel brings more from England. |
![]() Here is shown my curio cabinet, a serving window to the kitchen and stairs leading up to the mezzanine |

Above is my modern kitchen with everything a good cook needs. Too bad that is not me. At left, some of my collection of Oaxacan art. Oaxaca doesn't have mineral wealth but the valley is rich with artisans who paint, weave, sculpt with clay, and carve wood figures. |
![]() This is Alexis's bedroom. It has reproductions of Diego Rivera's art. The wall mirror makes the room seem even larger. |
![]() This is my bedroom, obviously, with its bedside rocking chair. The tapestry above the bed is from Chang Mai, Thailand. The walls are orange and red. Who would have thought of such a combination? |
|
![]() Above, stairs leading to the mezzanine where there is another dining table, book case, and my home gym. At left, almost unknown in Mexico is a closet of this size with drawers and shelves. |
![]() Above the entrance is a panoramic window |
![]() The mezzanine comes in handy for card club gatherings or holiday parties |
![]() Dining table, home gym and steps leading to the upstairs bedroom |
![]() This bedroom has artwork from Asia |
![]() The skin on the bed was a gift from a friend |
The patio off the bedroom is my guests' favorite |
